Saturday morning T-15, R-2 and BC-2 were sent to a pond off Clubhouse Rd. on a reported plane that had crashed into a pond. The plane had gone missing Friday night and debris was found Saturday morning. Units arrived onscene with SCMPD/SSFD and SS EMS. T-15 personnel began checking the banks of the pond using the TIC to check for any victims. SCMPD divers advised they had found a small plane on the bottom of the pond with the deceased pilot still inside. The plane was removed with no assistance needed from SFD.
